About Dawn Preller

Do you feel sad, hopeless, confused, overwhelmed, or angry? Have you tried to work through challenges on your own but feel like you’re not making progress? Have others expressed concern about your well-being? Are you struggling with concentration, excessive worry, or patterns of coping that no longer serve you? If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone—and support is available.

I have experience working with individuals navigating both mental health and substance use challenges. I believe that understanding our past helps us make sense of how we think, feel, and behave today. By “connecting the dots,” we can begin to recognize patterns and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, and I work with individuals, couples, and families to build insight, strengthen communication, and foster deeper understanding. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore patterns of negative coping and begin developing healthier, more effective strategies for managing difficult situations, thoughts, and behaviors.

I view each person as part of a larger system—when one individual is struggling, it affects the entire family. Together, we explore roles, beliefs, and behaviors to support growth, healing, and greater acceptance of one another.

My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence and clarity.
